Tasks and responsibilities:

With many existing and upcoming projects, we're expanding our project team, seeking Project Planning Engineers to ensure timely, budget-conscious completion of various construction projects. As a crucial team member, you'll oversee scheduling, resources, budgets, risk, and compliance, ensuring smooth project execution. The main responsibilities include:

Project Planning:

• Responsible for the preparation of Contract / Project Programmes and ongoing Monthly Reporting of progress
• Develop and maintain project schedules, incorporating all phases of construction activities.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish realistic timelines and milestones.

Schedule Management

• Preparation and presentation of programs and schedules associated with bids and tenders.
• Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect scope, resources, and timelines changes.
• Analyse project progress against the schedule and provide insights to the project team.

Risk Analysis

• Conduct risk assessments related to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
• Anticipate potential delays and develop contingency plans.

Reporting

• Prepare and present regular reports on project schedules, progress, and potential issues.
• Provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a planner or scheduler in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Syncro 4D (desirable)).
• PowerBI for reporting (desirable and willing to learn)
• Fluency (level C) in English language, both verbally and in writing
• Swedish a plus

As a person, you are analytically inclined and can quickly create an understanding of tasks and see a way forward. You have a problem-solving mindset and thrives in a dynamic and flexible environment. Finally, you are flexible in your way of working and you can easily adapt to new situations.
